Today’s hike on Mount Rainier was serene and a bit mystical, with the entire trail shrouded in a soft, lingering fog. The low visibility gave the landscape a gentle, quiet quality, inviting a slower pace and closer attention to the mountain’s hidden details. At one moment, we caught a glimpse of a mountain goat, almost invisible in the mist, blending seamlessly into the foggy backdrop. It was a peaceful encounter, reminding us of the quiet beauty Mount Rainier holds, even on these misty, calm days.
